An engineer with vast international business expertise, Mr. Khinda is one of the leading names in real estate and property development in Dubai. He honed his entrepreneurial skills by establishing an export trading company of light engineering goods.

Looking for new growth opportunities, he moved to Australia and co-founded Integrity Wealth Solutions Private Limited, a wealth management company that specialized in restructuring mortgage payments.

Mr. Khinda brought his wide Indian and international experience to Dubai when he established Landmark International FZE, a company specializing in the trading of electronic products. In tune with the growth opportunities presented by the real estate sector in Dubai, he diversified to property brokerage and established Zahrat Dubai Real Estate Establishment in 2003.

To date, the company has brokered deals worth AED 482 million to local and international clients. Mr. Khinda is consolidating his success in property brokerage with strategic investments in several developments in Jumeirah Village South, a master-planned project. He has also joined hands with Mehta Contracting LLC to build his company’s core competencies and serve as a full-spectrum property solutions company.

Retailing is the forte of Mr. Azam, who started his career as a trainee in a shoe store when he was only 14 years old. Learning the ropes of business, he established the first designer clothing retail store in 1990 under the brand name V2 and built it into a chain of independent retail businesses within a short span of time. V2 retails several prestigious brands including Hugo Boss, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, among others. He diversified into textiles by setting up manufacturing units in Turkey and Morocco, which complemented retail business.

Mr. Azam was among the first-movers to gauge the value of fashion franchise business and in 2000 acquired the franchise for French Connection United Kingdom (FCUK). Today, his company owns and operates three FCUK stores. He also holds franchises for Nicholas Deakins, which contributes to over 10 percent of the parent company’s wholesale business in the UK.

Seeking further challenges and new growth opportunities, he moved in to Dubai in 2004 and focused on his core competency – trading – by setting up two shops, one of which specialized in furniture. He focused his attention on real estate in 2005 and has investments in Jumeirah Village South. Azam’s business interests also span hospitality and encryption payment systems through private and start-up companies. He is also the sole owner of Pure Real Estate Consultancy FZE.
